shuttle wait time & organization
When I crossed the Pacific and moved to LA nine years ago, I had no idea what to expect. Adventures. Opportunities. Friends. Passion. And a newfound love for life in LA.
Just last week, B and I found ourselves with tickets to the Hollywood Bowl: Michael Feinstein & the Singing Stars of TV with Dick Van Dyke (I LOVE Mary Poppins). Parked at Hollywood/Highland (<$10), made a picnic of delish Fresh Fire Kabobs food and wine from the corner liquor store. Took the shuttle up ($4 R/T or $0 w/METRO pass). Grabbed a $1 program and cushions (hard benches – ouch). Nosebleed tickets and all, the view and experience took my breath away. A gem in the hustle-n-bustle of LA, a sanctuary hidden in the mountains under the open sky. I said to B, “I’m in love.”
